Hello My Friend Hung! not many like this one!
love your style mountains forever! but # 2 is absolutely gorgeous!
the dark pattern in front of the lighter brown color!
really tells of distant between mountain ranges,
front mountains! then back far away mountains.
love the 1/3 to 2/3's spacing end to end, so I see three mountain tops
one at front in black, then main brown top and farthest away small one to the right.
Surface pattern on black front mountain, I see "100 thread waterfalls"
This one my friend! You should make a daiza for...

Have these stones had the bottoms cut flat?
Number 2 stone is very good and I agree with stonener it really needs a diaza.
Where did they come from they look like they are all from the same area?

Hello Darylh ,
3 stones they are natural stones , collected at Khánh Vĩnh Town , Khánh Hoà Province . The good thing is the bottom of all 3 stones are flat and natural .
I also agree with you and My Friend - Stonener , I will make for a mountain 2 nd ... a DAIZA appropriate ...

Sounds like you also value natural uncut stones more, as do I,... 
But did you know that "suiseki wise" there is no difference!
Even as an original rule! one cut is allowed, has been forever!... 
Classic Historical antiques stones had been cut form the very start!
always have been and some bottoms even worked! to look as if not cut... 
A good collector will tell you 1st, before hand when a stone has been cut,
as does Hung!, I am always amazed with the quality he finds ...

I was talking with Craig cussins the other weekend and he was looking at some stones and he showed me where they had been worked on the bottom to look more natural, once I was shown it became obvious where the work had been done

Hi Stonener

It is a constant problem for me, to know that a stone should not be cut, when the stones in fact is being cut, Again and Again, also the famous antique, as you say in your reply, and I already knew.
To grasp this kind of moral, when enjoying the stones at home, and also when I teach in Denmark, makes me feel bad.
You say:  "Even as an original rule! one cut is allowed, has been forever"

In this case, does all this stonecutting give some sense, and the moral is not compromised.

Were have you come accross theese Words?, and does anyone else want to say something about this matter?.
