Juniper collecting in mid summer?
Can junipers be collected in mid summer? Gonna finish my deck and there are like 4-5 juniper that need to be removed. Will they be alright if I put them in training pots or is there no hope for them. If it can be done what are good techniques for summer digging junipers- bare rooting, cut foliage, or just pot it in the dirt it in, etc

If they HAVE to be removed, the answer is yes. Otherwise . . .
It would be best to have holes dug somewhere else and immediately replant them. If that's not possible, find fairlylarge pots and pot them immediately. If the root balls are sizeable, no topping should be needed. If the balls are small, cut a bit off. Shade until you're sure they've survived (remember how long juniper stay green after they're dead!). Water well, but don't keep them soggy.
