Khaimraj,
The weeping tree is quite famous already. It has been published in many books. It's a Bougainvillea glabra.
Regards,
Jose Luis

Incredible technique!
Mastering the technique and having the patience to do this for many years is incredible!jrodriguez wrote:Khaimraj,

I can imagine how many hours went into this tree!
Bravo to the owner.

I thought that it was a Bougainvillea from the trunk texture and the tale-tell remains of the two bracts. I never saw Bougainvillea trained in the weeping style. Just fantastic. Surely it took a lot of sensible and directional 'cut and grow'sssssssss.

Thank you Budi for posting these pics; amazing! The windswept "perspective tree on a mountain", penjing, is very exquisite! Wow to the weeping masterpiece!

Budi, thanks for posting. It was nice to meeting you there..
Here are few more pictures I took....
This was the demo area. Very nice setup, but messy audience behavior...
More trees...
And this is the entrance gate to the venue.
One thing very strange..this was the official BCI Convention, but this was the first time in BCI Convention that NO logo NOR anything mentioned mentioned BCI. Nothing is English nor in Chinese..
When I talked to the Chinese, no one knew that this was BCI Convention; and when I asked to Tom, the BCI President for my curiosity, he was not aware about this. I just though BCI normally very strick and serious on such formal thing...

Sifu R.,
big thanks again for the images.
However, to really learn anything, we do need sizes, ages and latin names. Otherwise these are just pretty pictures.
Love that Sweet Lime [ Murraya ] hope one day to design one with similiar visual appeal.
Thanks again.

Hah, so beautiful Adam,
didn't even notice, and I would be lying if I said I noticed any of the other pots.
Later.

I mean the pots are so unnoticed because they are the perfect pots for the trees. The emphasis here is on the tree(s) and pot is secondary, and, if you see the pot in the image before the tree you are just extravagant. Nature is simple yet full of awe. Like I said excellent templates to learn from. Thanks for posting Robert.
cheers,

The pot was broken by accident.
Jun, you missed the event. You shouldn't miss again for the September WBFF Convention in China. We will likely manage to have a one day workshop in Lingnan Penjing after the convention.
