Oak from Arkadius
Hi to all.
I will show you my oak. What are you thinking about this tree? Are you have any idea for the styling?
This is a first idea for cutting.
The Nebari
Thanks

Re: Oak from Arkadius
Hello Arkadius.
Is it a yamadori from Italy?
Why you would leave those main branches that long, they look mature enough to me?
When the tree is healthy one could think of building up new branching from much closer to the trunk.
It will take a few years as you know, but the ramification will be natural.

Hello sunip,
thank you for your answere. I Think it is a yamadori from germany, but I'm not sure.
I have it from a collegue.
You are right. I have to cut the branches more. The branches looking to linear.
If I look on a old Oak I see more movement in the branches.
You would keep all the branches?
Thanks
Arkadius

No i would cut some, but i look only at pictures and am reserved
but there are some branches coming from the same level of the trunk.
Those gnarly twisted branches of oaks would fit the trunk better and are easier been wired when shoots are young.
