Hi there
Excellent pots! Love the colours of the glaze.
Do you use moulds to create them?

Thanks for your compliments.
I will soon present new pots.
@YukiShiro
No, I don´t use moulds. Every pot is freely built up
Also the glazes are my own creations.
Currently I experiment with natural glazes.
For example, the fourth pot from above, the green pot, has a glaze from nature clay.

Re: Bonsai rastner: new bonsai pots 2013
Hi,
I gave an new clay a chance.The color is a mixture of red and beige.
Unfortunately, I have chosen in case of the glaze fire the wrong temperature, therefore, the pots are not frostproof.
But with the next time it works.
And here are two pots with my "normal" black clay:
The last pot got a small crack, but further is not bad, because this pot is frost-proof and should have no problems with freezing temperatures.
Regard,
Christian

Can you give us some measurements? The pots are really beautiful, and I love the glazes, and I would like to know how big these pots are,kora

Lovely work.
I couldn't care less whether you're in Vienna, Germany or the south of Mars. Nice pots nonetheless.
Keep posting your work.
Have a great week!!!

I like how you progressed from bonsai student to learning to make pots. I would think it would give you a special sense for pot shape
and color.
My contribution to the thread is to ask for better photos of your drainage. One shot I could kinda see. 3 smaller sized holes. Ever consider preparing openings for tie down wires. I always appreciate those in the pots i use.
thanks for sharing. and best wishes as you continue to improve your craft. Do you have a signiture on the bottom of your pots?
If not better design something
and color.

Hello,
many thanks for the big responses.
I will answer all questions in turn.
@Kora
Now I have written the size of the bowl under every photo, in centimeters.
The height is including the pot feet.
@Iris
I live in Austria and in Germany.
Most of my pots I make in Vienna, therefore, I poste the photos always from there. But when I have registered myself in the forum, I was just in Germany.
In addition, Vienna is a known town and it sounds better and better than the village where I live in Germany.
@ Sam
Many thanks for the compliment, I will continue in any case and show furthermore pots.
@ Dick
I try to do in the pots always many holes, at least 5.
Sometimes these are even 3 if the bowl is not so big.
And yes, I have a signature, a stamp!
