9th Bonsai of the Rizal Bonsai Club, Rizal, Philippines

The Rizal Bonsai Club staged their 9th Open Bonsai and Suiseki Exhibit and Competition yesterday and will last until February 13, 2012 at the bridgeway of a mall in the province of Rizal (nearby Metro Manila). Overall entries totaled 64 from its members and other guest participants. There were two categories for the judging, tropical trees category and pemphis spp. category. Jun, known member here was one of the judge during the competition. Of all the entries, the one below emerged as the Best in Show.

I am glad you joined the show and I hope to see more of your works.
My photos sucks... I hope you could share more of your pictures..hehe. I saw lot from facebook. mang Pabling (IBC) trees were there too. and ofcourse your nice flowering Bougainvillea.

BTW. some might recognize the penjing Phempis in the white slab. It is a non competing entry.

The Pemphis in the white slab is not part of the competition, it is an exhibit of a judge... which was posted here months ago.
