Privet dormancy
Hello,
How does one tell if a privet (Ligustrum ovalifolium) in a container has gone dormant and can safely be defoliated for wiring and other work?
Cheers,
Adam

Re: Privet dormancy
"Dormancy" may be a misnomer as it pertains to privet, however, when they stop pushing new buds during that brief period over winter when no growth occurs, that's your opportunity.
