Hi Deane
Your photo of the stone in its daiza is nice, the shape of the daiza, fit the stone very well, and also is it wellfitted into the daiza.
I would normaly not want to criticise a display like this...But to be honest, do I think the daiza is to dark for this pale stone, a brown stained woodcollor would be much better.....Did you use paint?.
Kind regards Yvonne

Thanks, for the reply, The daiza is made from african mahogany and stained a dark color. The piece is about 16 inches (400mm) tall.

I see it facing me
Hi Deane,
beginners luck I think not!
Looks like it comes naturally to you!
I see the dragon, under the waterfall,
in front of the emerald mountains.
straight out of a fair tale!
you must be the brave prince?...

from my childhood memory's
Keith, once in a nightmare,
I ran from this "GHOST DRAGON"
Look closely at bottom third of stone,
off center to the right, small dark spot(pupal)
in the dragons eye can be seen, inside the shape of an eye.
Dead center bottom, two nostrils and teeth at top lip, seen
in his open mouth, about to exhale a blast of fire at you or bite.
Noticing the changes in the stone colors, will help you see the image.
Follow shape of head starting right side, at jaw, past eye spot.
Up and around to the two white horns at top of his head, one each side.
Far left bottom side edge, a scale on the dragons back can be seen,
look for the triangle point...
