falls a comin'
As my chrysanthemum flowers are beginning to show their colors.
I love working with my display alcove. the mountain scene in the scroll is new, it has a lone bird flying over it as it heads south for the coming winter. I'm gonna keep making displays in my alcove for my own gratification. Tho, I have a lot to learn admittedly,
I'm not gonna allow being overwhelmed with the dos and don'ts to damper my enthusiasm for this art form.
the bonsai is still holding on to it's summer green. in winter the green has a reddish tint.
It's a time of transistion. I notice neighbors are getting their seasonal displays on the front porches to include jack o lanterns,
constalks etc.
Interesting
isn't it that in different parts of the world, seasonal changes are paid attention to with anticipatory displays.
i notice the koi dispite the dropping temperatures are on a feasting rant, and anything edible gets packed away for the winter.
Weather prognosticators suggest here in the pacific NW a dryer, colder winter.
I'm not yet ready physically or mentally for winter.
Are you?
