Here present the work made to my future shohin of Roble. Work on dead wood and wire some branches making future canopy. This tree was purchased in vendor area of the World Convention. Enjoy

nice, cool, but the uro looks abit scary aka "black hole" lol

Yrs, Only put Lime Surfur with one drop of white paint.

You have the reason, but I think that is the close up taken, but really not scary, jajaj

I think the carving look s a bit artificial.

Jose - I brought one home with me too. A small one for shohin. It has a way to go. Now in a pot by Dale Cochoy.
Mine went in the carry on luggage so it had to be a wee one.

very nice and an impressive trunk. lots of character. i hope you are doing fine.

Rob: Beautiful little tree.Carving just eniugh to not look "man-made". It enhances the look of age on trunk and little deadwood does not upstage natural aging of bark.
