Hi Jun,
I like the simple design of the first picture and if it was my tree I would keep it that way... "but where is the fun in that", I hear someone say...
Although I like the idea of the second choice I am somewhat bothered by the trunk and the rock being a bit too close together?
Best...

Re: Simple or extreme.
I loose the tree visually in the second version, perhaps some space as Gasper suggests, or the tree can reach out of the pot further. But the tree should be the focal point, and it seems somewhat diminished in the extreme version.
Lovely tree, do you have any photos of it fruiting?

I like the first presentation best. The trunk gets lost in the pot on the second. Pretty tree, pretty pot, but I don't think they work together ... yet

The Simple, L.L.B,
but I would still work on the trunk a little more.
Show it when it flowers, and when it fruits - please.
Thanks for showing.

Extreme! Maybe with the trunk leaning out more and not so tight against the rock wall. Simple is boring.
