Cones/fruit on Cedras Atlantica.
I posted a question a month or so back regarding pruning of Cedras Atlantica, this is the bonsai in question.I did have a couple of helpful replies. My further query concerns the apparent cones forming in the centre of the needles.I have had them other years and removed them, but am I doing the right thing?

What you have there are female flowers (the male flowers look rather like pine candles) the cones come later if the flowers are pollenated. The rosettes of foliage that host the female flowers/cones will die whether you remove the cones or not. In fact, if the cones are on small sub-branches, they may also weaken and perhaps fail. Cedar cones are massive and would be a severe drain on the plants resources, so best remove the flowers anyway.
Flowering is not induced by age, rather by 'growth phase'. Clearly this plant feels it is mature enough to reproduce, so your job is to make it feel young again - literally to rejuvenate it. Shorten the branches (which will help ramification) and feed heavily with plenty of nitrogen. No need to worry about long needles and internodes with cedar.

Treedwarfer,
Your obviously very knowledgable. Why don't you tell us a little about yourself? What is your level of experience with bonsai?
Best
