The second drawing could easily be achieved by a serissa or clerodendron i.
Good use of negative space. Very decorative. I could also see this as wrought iron.

The first, feels like the canopy needs more work. The actual drawing is however very
pleasant.I would hang it on my living room walls.

I really dig that drawing. I have thought about taking up drawing bonsai. Any pointers?

Choose good subject matter, don't waste a bunch of time on the background, pot, or stand.
Use the best paper you can find. It makes a bigger difference than you might think.
