Greetings Hung Tran,

Your lake stones are beautiful with wonderful daiza! I must , however, share a warning that an American diaza maker gave me. Sean Smith sold me his Kamagawa lake stone with a rosewood daiza which he collected while apprenticing in Japan. He told me NOT to put water in the lake while the stone was in the daiza because the water could overflow and ruin the wood. In stead he recommended using a suiban if I wished to show the stone with water.

Ya! Hung I have also heard,
that in Winter you display in daiza, dry
and in summer in suiban, sprayed wet or filled pools.
But as Ms Yvonne states" all stones much have a daiza,
as best way to store them safely.
So many ways can be said, best is just simply to enjoy them,
even if on a plain board...

Thanks for that Stoner and Yvonne, this makes decisions regarding, 'making a daiza or not?' simple......MAKE IT!
