Hello,
These are inherited stones, it is meteorite.
These stones and other meteorites, where placed by aprentices along the path to a sanctuary ±800 years ago.
These stones where given by the last caretaker to members of my family ±55 years ago.
It is very heavy and very hard.
The fist one is 5 cm. the second one is 6,8 cm.

OK Sunip

This is something special. I like the two collours together. Are they heavy?.
In witch country were they found?.

This is rare stones, and the first could be a little mountain. I see the second picture as the front...( most interesting).
The next do like best on the last photo.....they both deserve to have pretty little seat.

Kind regards Yvonne

Hello Yvonne,
Yes they are special indeed and in Japanese term one might call them Yuraiseki.
They are from France and are sure very heavy like a piece of iron.
Today when i looked at my deshojo i discovered that the red parts on these heaven stones
have the same color as the red leaves on this maple.
They deserve a nice daisa i think, when anybody has ideas, please post them.

Hello,
This small meteorite was gifted to me by friends ± 40 years ago when i was visiting the site of the sanctuary.
My friends found this stone in a little river in the neighbourhood of the site.
3,5 cm.

Hello,
A little seat for this meteorite as Yvonne envisioned.
5 cm. - 1,96 inch.
More a miniature but as much work as a bigger seat.
