Hollow trunk

Post  Nemphis on Fri Mar 02, 2012 5:47 pm

I'm sorry for creating this topic,I'm really sorry, but I saw some time ago,1-2 months, a topic with an astonishing masterpiece. It was a bonsai with hollow trunk,I don't remember properly but I think it was an elm.
I've been searching for the topic from about 30 minutes already and still i didn't find it.
Can you please help me?

Is it something here? These are images that come up on Google for topics on this forum that contain the term "hollow trunk", but it includes avatars and duplicate postings.

Im the last person who's memory you should trust but look through Will Baddeleys posts and see if it was a tree he had, I thought he put up a nice hollow trunked Elm a few months ago...Just my guess.

Hello Nemphis

Here are a couple of pictures taken yesterday. Unfortunately I lost 4000 odd posts and threads when I left the forum earlier in the year and I can no longer trace them.

Ahhh sir!
Thank you so much!!

I loved this tree since the first time I saw it.
It's one of my favourites(besides Hans van Meer "Little hawthorn"

Such an awesome deadwood.
I hope I'll get some elms to try and make such a masterpiece(I'll need years and years).

Thank you so much for sharing this tree.
