Hi
I am new to the forum and also new to bonsai. I just got my first bonsai tree from a store this month with many new leaves are growing.
I will have to post some photos here later in order to know which kind of tree is that.
Before that I have got some problems lately.
After reading some articles about bonsai on internet, I unwired it and pruned some branches.
After that, new leaves seem slower to grow like before and I am afraid of loosing my first bonsai tree.
Unwired and pruning made the tree weak???
What should I do??
Thanks for any help and advice.

In general, don't do anything on a bonsai until you really know what you are doing, or you have an experienced guide. Let the tree grow for now.
Try to find a bonsai club.

Learn how to keep the tree healthy first, a feet in and of itself, once the tree is thriving under your care.... THEN do Bonsai.
