Early fall color

I am jealous of the excellent fall color in many recent posts...but, I still like my very temperate climate!
Early fall coloration...
American Hornbeam, Carpinus caroliniana




Zelkova


Coral Bark Maple, Sango kaku

Coral Bark maple from which the previous tree was air-layered some years ago...

Lastly, a Ginkgo biloba with almost no yellow coloration so far. (Andrei, I am jealous!)

You guys are killing me with these beautiful Fall colors. Great trees & wonderful photography John !!

Wish to goodness the autumn colour in my part of the world didn't just blow away in a matter of minutes.

much the same has just happened here in Cornwall - trees were looking good enough for a few pictures and yesterday there was a months rainfall and gusting 40mph winds - my junipers and pines have nice autumn colour still though !

Or as we know it in Scotland - Inverness.

I put my Ginkgo into the glasshouse a few days ago and as a result it managed to avoid having its leaves blown away like my other autumn colour trees. Looked good today.

ALL the trees look really good !! I really like the hornbeam though.. take care john

This Coral Bark maple developed nice color this year...here it is on the kitchen table!

Todd, I bought the Ginkgo nearly 12 years ago in Tokyo, at the Green Club, and imported it legally at the time. The import restrictions have tightened greatly over the years.
