Happy July 4th, everyone:

went on scouting trips up the coast from home to locate trees for next week's kauai bonyu kai dig. came away with some dryland, thorny stumps that have potential. sharing some pictures.

best wishes, sam

What a great way to spend the day! Happy 4th to you and yours!
How long will you keep the one tree under plastic?

happy 4th todd:

all four trees are bagged and in the shade. bags stay on until strong budding occurs. typically 6 weeks or more.

best wishes, sam
