Newly cleaned and stained.

Post  jolz on Tue Apr 26, 2011 9:56 am

Good day everyone, I am sharing pictures of two of my Phempis Acidula. I just finished cleaning and applied lime sulphur on the deadwood this morning. Both trees were dug in 2007 while me and my family were vacationing in central Philippines, they are now 4 years under training.

Lovely looking trees...
Great work for 4yrs of training!!!!
Did you have to do a great deal of root reduction?

Think my other half would go mental if she found me digging up yamadori on our holidays!!!

Keep it up!!
Cheers

I haven't do the root pruning til now and as for my experience, this specie does not require a lot of that. Normally, it took five years before the need to do the repotting requires. My wife is always very supportive when it comes to this thing, she also is hooked up; but she never attempted to try even once and very much contented on seeing me doing this thing the whole day.
