bonsai in makro
took the wife shopping to makro<the wholesale supermarket chain> and i could,nt believe it ,there was a guy set up shop in the car park selling bonsai. now i,m used to seeing crappy little twigs in supermarkets being sold as bonsai but these were amazing .huge gnarled twisted trunks , foliage was a bit naff but could easily be sorted. they were chinese and he,d driven over the border with the trees . the guy was chinese and did,nt speak english and very little thai so conversation was a bit limited .the only problem was the prices the best ones were around one thousand five hundred pounds each, i thought makro was wholesale ???? regards john

Hey John, the bonsai shop was set up in the parking lot, so the price must be the same as the cars. asked him to move inside "makro", probably he'll give you whole sale price.
