Sierra juniper first styling

I collected this juniper in Sept 2008 in Tahoe National Forest (with permit).[img]

Started work on it in May 2010 in a study group workshop with Ryan Neil.[img]

good development for 2 years Paul. Im not very sure though with the small photo...very hard to see the branch layout. but based on the foliage mass, IMHO- a more branch on the left side would attain a more balanced appearance.

That's the plan for the future. As the foliage develops the left branch will be extended down 10-12 inches to balance the crown.
