Finding What You Need Can Be all About What You Ask For!

Went to one of the larger nurseries near my workplace and asked if they had a graveyard, where they might have trees that have gone below what they would consider commercially useful. I was quickly corrected by the young lady I asked. She told me I needed to look in the ORPHANAGE!

OK, so off we went. Found two Buxus microphylla var. koreana.



After a quick winter-prep haircut:





I grabbed them because I liked the size and shape of the trunks, I seem to have lost the other trunk photos.

Stopped at Lowe's afterword and found another Buxus m. They gave it a different name, but listed the same scientific name.





The listed retail price for the three was close to $100. I got them for $30.

Next to bury their pots till next spring and see what I can do with them.
