Greetings! I think the plain Brown rectangle works best to show off the nice character of the tree. The Blue oval is a nice pot, but I think it distracts from the tree. The Blue pot and tree compete with each other. IMHO Salut, Todd

Color is OK, but it is a little too big & much too deep. Group, clump, & banyan styles look better in shallow pots. Oval is fine. Sometimes you have to go with what you have on hand.

I like the brown pot, too . . . but shallower wold be good. The blue and the pattern simply does not fit the tree.

IMHO if it is to be a blue pot, for me it would need to be a significantly shallower pot in a much stronger blue (no pattern).

But as Iris suggests, maybe it's a matter of it being between the two pots you've shown, in which case the brown would be my choice.

btw I think the tree has great potential, amazonida. can you please post pics of it over time.

Id say the rectangular one.
The blue have too much pattern and too tall. To me it would look more like a houseplant.

Amoz

You go with the one you like. It's your tree and you are the one who will spend the time on it. Being odd, I like the one you do. It is fun.
