going broon at the ends. otherwise growing well. fed, watered etc. Any ideas?

Boulevard....Problem?...Yes. You've said it all in the title. Extremely difficult to turn into bonsai for the reason you have given, I have only ever seen one good example by Simon Temblett but it's still lacking ramification. Pom Pom trees at best.
