Busy bee Bobby!! What I suggest you do is lose the soil to expose the rafts roots. Those trunks look very straight and will be impossible to put movement into. expose the raft and we can go from there.

this was just dug uip in early december so I'm a little cautious about doing much to it bnecause I understand that they need a bit of time to recover?

These trees you have displayed are not good material.
