A soft squared, thrown, altered and carved unglazed cascade pot with rivets.
9 1/2 inches across and 8 1/2 inches high.

A good-sized oval

A dark rustic nanban about a foot across

Some RED grass/shohin pots with pewter casting applications

A cinnabar and cream shohin oval.
I don't make many ovals this size.
5 5/8" x 4 5/8" x 1 1/2" INSIDE measurements.

A copper round pot 12 1/4" x 3 1/4" high.

A black shohin  semi-cascade





And a black and red tea bowl-like pot.

finally had a chance to thoroughly go thru this post and all i can say is:

damn.

new favorite potter... hands down.

On 'Bonsai Classifieds' I tried something different....
I auctioned off a block of clay TO BE CARVED into a pot...

After I get the last firing done I'll show you how...
I went from this block of very gritty rustic clay I mixed up...


To this one-piece hand-carved pot (ready to be bisque fired)....




And, hopefully, a completed high-fired pot.

A nice little 3-glaze shohin oval 7" x 5 1/2" x 2 3/4" I put on my FB page yesterday.
Already gone in a couple hours  

A few new pots, unfortunately most are already gone now.

Clay type, finish materials and gas firing to cone 10.

Here is a small 3-clay pot fired to cone 10. Hard to do without the different clays seperating.

A fancy blue ash glazed pot from grey clay.

A Wood-grained round with big rivets. Unglazed.
