Thank you so much Horst Very Happy
That is very encouraging.
I have quite a back log of pots drying and waiting for both kilns. I had a nasty foot surgery mid-December and it crippled me up for two months . After about 6 weeks I could get up/down the basement stairs but couldn't get stuff outside for firing, sooo, there are lots of gas fired pots on the way including a bunch experimenting with raku clay.

A few freshly fired pots.
Some are "Dry Riverbed Pots" and some aren't.

First are two DRB shohin pots that I glazed completely. One is brite yellow and the other is orange and copper with a gray shino rim.

The next two pots use a technique I used a lot long ago.
They are wrapped with a knotted cord.
One is a DRB pot and the other is not.
Both have green ash glazed rims.

Here are two large DRB pots with crackled glaze rims.
The first is an oval with a darker band ( hard to see in the pic)
and

Some pots for the new gallery - Page 2 Empty You truly have a wide range of excellet pots.

I have looked for several years and failed to find much in the way of pots outside the Orient that I like. You have so many. You have real good creativity that goes widely.
My personal taste isn't for the logs but the rest are terrific. This site is providing some surprising talent. Maybe I have just been looking in the wrong ways.

Your choice of colors is very good. I'm such a tree addict, but I'm not sure your pots even need the addition. I have never seen such beautiful colors in bonsai pots that didn't overwhelm the trees. Of course, I'm not seeing them with the plants, but my gut tells me they would look fine.

Dale, I've just looked at these again on a flat monitor with a resolution of 1280 by 1024. The difference is staggering. They are truly beautiful pots with masterfull use of subtle and organic appearing glazes. Keep it up.

Now that is a pot I would have liked to see in Orlando last month.

Ok, Dale, I have to ask. How much do you ask for your pots? Pobably getting in over my head, but if there is any chance, I have to ask. Do you do any in the 10 to 11 inch range?

Kirby, I PM'd you.

Billy, thanks. I hated missing BSF after 10 YEARS!, but several reasons kept me away this year. How was it?
Maybe next year again. My wife misses the beaches in June!

Hi Dale... so now its time for me to secure another of your pots... What does $40 buy a nice English Gentleman?

Oh... and a question: Could I have a SMALL 18" traditional banded oval in a nice medium blue? jocolor Send your answer on a LARGE A4 piece of paper!

Thanks Tony.
I'd love to send another pot to the UK.
Unfortunately $40 will pay for the shipping of a $40 pot! pale
now....if we are talking 40 POUNDS, thats a little different! Smile

Just ordered some Euro tools and the Euro/US Dollar and shipping is a killer!!

I could make you anything you want. I just need INSIDE measurement LXWXD.
The blue oval you mentioned, I'm going to take a guess and say about $100 for UPS plus their packing fee which is how I do it. A year or so ago I sent a small pot to Morea and found that US mail was about 25% of UPS charge, BUT, UPS packing is guaranteed against breakage or it's on them. Not so if I pack it for US mail.
I know.....TMI! Embarassed
Thanks for looking.

Thanks Morea.
Yes, US mail good and fast. and much cheaper than UPS and the likes. But, they pack and I like that especially if a big pot that I'd hate to have broken.
Foot, yes, not looking forward to three shows in three weekends with 2 days between!! Packing, unpacking , standing around, then do it all over again!
I'll be meaner than a Bear with a sore butt by the end of the third one! Laughing

That UK show sure looked like fun and a quality show.
I wish I could get over there before I have to drink my beer through an IV tap..
