The great Garuda! Thanks.. I have added color to it I need to get the pics up.. Wings are blue, greens and oranges. His skin is red. Still haven't finished it though.

Are the Garuda from Indonesia . Are they ever finished.

What exactly is the first tattoo. It looks like a preying mantis or is it some alien .

It is mantis with some peony flowers. It is similar to this mantis

Just being mischievous Joe but it does seem that I am the only person I know without a tattoo - my wife excepted.

I think its a great idea if you can handle it.

I knew a fella "oop North" who was an aspiring heavy metal king and had a full torso job done right up to under his chin. Was quite awkward for him when he gave up the band and got a job involving frequent travel to Japan during the summer - no swimming etc and roll-neck pullies all the time.

I often wonder what all the local muffin tops will do if they ever change their boyfriends. Stop wearing the thongs and go for full briefs maybe ?

Tatoos on the muffin top. That is what my daughter refers to as the "Tramp Stamp." Needless to say... she has one!

Where I live, we call these 'slag tags'.

We call them arse antlers

We refer to them as "Tamp Stamp" here in Philadelphia also. I love that you linked the muffin top.. Cracked me up!

"Arse Antlers" is probably the funniest I have heard in referring to these.

The artist I chose had done lots of trees and natural images, but he never had a client so particular about getting the bark just so. but it's a sycamore, you gotta have the bark right!

haven't got the kit to post pictures, but I've got the character from this on my shoulder blade, done by Low at Northside Ink in whitley Bay. He was good 15 years ago, and I'm told he's a thousand times better now:
