Re: The day jobs we do?
I guess I am self employed....... Third party Inspection for most all natural gas and oil companies. Explanation: Gas companies hire me to go into the pipe mill that is manufacturing the pipe they are buying. While there I oversee the entire process to make sure that the product they ordered is what the pipe company is making and that it meets all specs required including API 5L and NACE. Yeah this is the same job that not too long ago took my finger and crushed another (14 tons of steel doesn’t give at all, but at least I can do fractions on my fingers now.) Currently I am in Baton Rouge, LA for about another month. I don’t get to spend the time that I want with my bonsai but have more than enough time to read about them. As for the taking care of them while I am gone (My dad is the greatest), besides I think he loves as much if not more than I do and it gives him something to do that is close to the gardening that he loves.

I was working towards becoming the norwegian version of a navy seal, but I ruined my knee.
Now im working in a kindergarden, but hoping to get back to studying music. My passion lies with my bass guitar. Also playing some violin. =)
Also wondering about trying to be a gardener.

Hi Guys,
I work in a commercial printers producing both lithographic and digital printing along with large format and exhibition material. Quite a fun job really as I get a chance to do lots of different things although I wish I could do more design work (although I'm not a Mac Monkey). I do some freelance design work & model making including stuff for the Mark Webber Supporters Club (Aussie F1 driver) which has been great as I've had chances to meet him and make some special items for his trophy room

Not only do we have a similar taste in music but my wife works for the Probation Service as an ETE Officer & NVQ Assesor. Small world although she says that she does fancy your job!!!!

As long as she doesn't start to fancy him, eh?

A very small world Simon. When I tell people my line of work, they seem to struggle with it but I love it . Best job I've ever had.

If my current spell of "part-time" work doesn't pick up soon, I'm thinking on becoming Jay Gaydosh's chief hitman over in his parallel universe - aka his Mafia Wars empire.

I could use the assistance, I'm collecting materials in the cyber world of Mafia Wars to build a chopshop. I've collected all the cement blocks, just need a little mortar! But, how good are you at hiding bodies in the foundation?
