Suiseki/Art/Sculpture Exhibit at the Oakland Museum

Hello stone lovers! I was just informed about this exhibit at the Oakland Museum of California and I thought I would let you all know about it in case you are able to visit and to let you know about an emerging awareness of stone appreciation among some US museum professionals.

I find it intriguing that the museum is comparing and contracting the found objects which suiseki are and fully created objects. I have as yet to visit the exhibition so I cannot comment on it directly. If any of you have visited I would enjoy reading about your responses to it.
