Progression of a black olive from Puertorico

Hi all,

It is the story of a black olive I got from the nursery in Puertorico in 2009.

Here is the tree I got.

absolutely beautiful in such a relatively short period of time !!!

the progression looks like your design changed direction a couple of times over the 6 years...
was that just following what the tree was giving you to work with ?
or was each directional change a planned step leading to the what we see now ?

Hello mr. Sulistyo, your tree made me write my first comment on the forum.
Your work is amazing and in cases like this, I have trouble believing that the first material is the same as the last photo.
It is unbelievable what you can see on stick in the ground, which is not a good material in the eyes of many of us.
In the next step of your miracles, nebari comes from nowhere and it's gorgeous, branch structure looks absolutely fantastic and the foliage is just a great finishing touch.
There is plenty of good trees, made of good material but your job gives me great motivation and evidence that can come from nothing something big

Thanks Beer. Anyhow, I did not change my idea. Sometimes we have to let some part grows longer just to get the proper thickness of the lower part, where as the direction is going on the same way. It remains thin, but when we cut the unnecessary thick part, it will look taper and ideal.
