7th BSA Exhibition : 8th – 9th March 2014 at Willowbog Bonsai

The British Shohin Association are proud to announce the 7th BSA Exhibition – 8th – 9th March 2014 at Willowbog Bonsai in the UK

This year, the BSA exhibition will feature over 50 premier shohin, mame and chuhin bonsai displays  Very Happy 

  • Special guest demonstrator – Valentin Brose will be demonstrating throughout the weekend. Valentin is a bonsai artist who has studied for several years in Japan under the well-known bonsai master Kunio Kobayashi at the Shunka-En nursery, and has featured several times in Bonsai Focus.
  • Workshops with Peter Warren and John Armitage
  • Evening Gala dinner and famous BSA Auction
  • Shohin potters and pottery displays
  • Entry is free to BSA members. Non-members £5 per day or £8 for the weekend
  • Prestigious BSA trophies will be given for Best large display, Best Small display, Best Chuhin and Mame displays, Tree/Pot combination.
  • A separate award is being presented by Walsall Studio Ceramics for Best work in progress.

Set in the idyllic Northumberland countryside, Willowbog Bonsai is less than an hour's drive from the M6 at Carlisle in the west, and less than an hour's drive from the A1 at Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the east, with an international airport.

You'll be made most welcome and this is sure to be another not-to-be-missed bonsai event in the UK.
