Beautiful tree Rafal and your english is fine, bonsai is great in the sense that you can let your tree's progression do the talking for you.

Hi Rafal,

I remember the tree from the East Meets West exhibition in Wroclav. It's even more impressive in person. Dobra praca
That was a great show BTW in a fantastic venue. Really enjoyed meeting the Polish artists too.

Hello, you did a great job. I want to ask you something: The trunk is very tube, have you ever thought of creating empty spaces between the branches and make an apex lighter?

I like Daniels idea about showing more of a taper at the top of the tree.

I really love your tree, very nice work you've done here, but......
Why do you call it Larix Japonica? As if saying your Larch is kaempferi. Isn't Larch growing in Poland, Larch decidua or European Larch?

Overhere in the Netherlands Larch kaempferi is planted in the twenties of the last century, because of quicker and straighter growth and less deep bark. So we also have some hybrid Larches in Holland, decidua x kaempferi, called Larix eurolepis.

with kind regards, Wessel

I know that tree is not perfect in understanding the Japanese canons of art bonsai. It it was one should was think so that strong wind he broke plant and it was has infused new life on newly. In my opinion larch looks now like complete tree.
I will work over getting fat branches now.

Weeijk,
Obviously correc name should be Larix kaempferi. Japanese larch's young speeds are orange - red to bronze - purplish red. Needles are blue - green. This permits me to judge that this is Japanese larch.
Edit:
I corrected the name of topic.
Larch "Raven"
So this larch be called in Poland.

Wonderful progression. The trunk is captivating. The lower RH branch breaks the spell some for me though.

Wonderful pictures of origins, wiring and trunk (and videos) I love so much about the tree, especially the base and trunk and branching--for me, the one major R branch always detracts--its resolution seems inevitable.
