I just got an old rosemary.it was 1.5 meters tall 5 feet

I chopped it to one foot. And potted it in clay pot

please help in styling it, what to remove from branches
And what style it might become.

One of thing am thinking is wind drift. As u can see in the pic
Or what else?
As u know the wood is very hard to bend

I wouldn't try bending the wood, it will probably break; the nicest Rosemary bonsai I've seen use the "clip and grow" method. There are probably a few lessons on that here on this forum. The deadwood on a rosemary can be stunning if well planned out. I would let it recover and see how well it responded to the chop-down and repotting. In the meantime, I would study its habits and possibly sketch out some options.

You have a really nice old tree and I would suggest taking your time with it. There are others on this forum who have good experience with this species as a bonsai.

Good luck with it.
