Re-potted Crab Apple

Hi all, Just re-potted my seriously root bound Crab apple. Wire is finally off. Same as the Beech on the last post, I made the pot myself.
Hope you like it.

I like both the pot and the tree, they have "character." Nicely done.

talented (tree and owner ;-). Pot is nice, but would not have been entirely my choice for the tree, personal opinion

The "Stella Artois" looks good too.

I like this tree, what type of crab is it? If it blooms for you, I'd love to see a photo!

Nice crab. I have never had luck with them over the year and I don't know why. They seem to always get Winter injury up here in the North,

even though I keep them in the same over wintering house that's kept at around 28ºF.

Any thoughts?
