Bonsai or Tree

Today when I was adjusting the wire on my spruce, my 7 year old daughter said to me "Baba, that bonsai looks like a tree....".

If an un-trained, innocent eye can view it as a tree, then I might have achieved something closer to my goal for that tree (or bonsai).

I totally argee. I love it when someone who knows NOTHING about bonsai says "I can see myself sitting under this tree!". No higher compliment can come from someone on the 'outside'. Tell her "thanks, that's what daddy was going for!"
