Larch - Jacob yamadori
Hi all friends
The Larch on one trip he found Jacob. The trunk was on the ground run over by a tractor.
The first styling, I tried to do the base of the tree and make the most interesting branches.

Nice find Kuba! I suggest you call this tree 'Roadkill'.
I'm looking forward to seeing how the 'peeled away' branch develops, Pavel. An interesting technique!

Pavel,
Are these new photos? Did you just do this?
I'm asking because, to me, it seems like this would be safer to do in the spring just as it begins to come out of dormancy. I'd be afraid to do this now at the beginning of winter, but my climate is probably very different than yours - and I'll never have a larch bonsai work on! My maples are still green.

Hi Steve, thank you for nice replies and compliment for Jacob.
Hi Russell, thank you for nice coment. Yes you are right, photos are from last year. Such intervention is not a problem, but it is better in the growing season. This was the beginning of Oktober last year.

Wow! What a transformation. I didn't see that one coming. You always find the best tree inside your raw material, Pavel.

Ok, I must admit.. When I saw the first picture of the tree after collect.. I was thinking, "What a waste of time."
But you keep impressing me. Very nice result!

That was exactly my reaction!!! Well, mine actually started with "HOLY SH#T" rather than "wow". Now let's see you put that puppy in a pot!

Wow this is one of the most amazing transformation of a wounded tree to a pretty amazing bonsai. Please post pictures of it in the spring!

Great work Pavel, good transformation of decidedly poor material.
OK IBC... hands up those that wish they had made the effort to come to Burrs

Beautiful work Pavel from, as Tony pointed out, quite poor material.
I can't wait to see the latest image "in laef" in the New Year.
Thanks for Sharing,
Regards,
Simon

Hi Simon,
Thanks for the nice comment and complimennt.
I also look forward to developments in the spring. I guess I'll have to spring to remove several branches, would be too dense crown. The branches have a lot of strong buds, which means a lot of energy. In the spring the tree will have a lot of power.

Very nice Pavel,
I have not yet seen a tree that you styled that I did not adore!

I second that!
Pavel is single handedly changing perceptions of just what constitutes 'good raw material.' Oh, to see the world through eyes such as his.

Hi! All
Pavel Nice shot!
And yes that is bonsai,...and a keen eye!
No offence,...this ain't nothing to do with Burrs or any location.
This is some one who discovers a tree from within.
And one who sees possibilities in a tree!
The most simple trees are in future so-called Bonsai....
Sweet child,.....in time...patiance...good folk!
Edit " you made this bonsai nutter drag in a tree in the middle of the night!''
GOOD THING!
Did i mention music,...ahhh good work pavel!
Grtzz from Holland....where i'd say construction!

WOW
I wish you're just a minute away from our house
Hope someday i'll also have the ability to see the very best we can make out of a "simple tree"

Ridiculous! What a transformation!!! This is true creation. Most times you see the "masters" doing some incredible stylings albeit with equally incredible material. Pavel did this with fairly poor material at best! Fantastic job indeed!!

Hi Pavel, I have a few years ago a bad larch material. From the ugly duck became a swan.

Callus is growing to be mad i suppose,...?
For now it gives disturbance on sight,....or am i lurking for opinion?
well that is not my goal,...just currious....
