Crab Apple Progression

This is the crab apple stump that was posted before.

I hope some of you remember this crab stump i brought from a tenn. nursery.. i have some fine wire on the branches for some direction.. is this looking good for the branch placement ???? comments so welcome...take care john

Hi John,
Consider growing this in the ground now for a few years. The thin branches will get thicker and you will develop the image faster. I like the leaves on this one.

Todd, Thank you for your reply.. I don,t have any places to put trees in the ground here ..about how long do you think it will take for the branches to thicken like they should ??? thanks take care john
