Unusual (suitable?) tree for literati

All kinds of comments solicited.

Crape myrtle, found 5 years ago along the side of my property, undoubtedly from a bird dropping that contained a seed or two. It already had the trunk bends, though the top wasn't as pronounced as it is now.
Flower standard magenta. Type -- who knows.

Looks nice in the photo, but the bend, etc. is all on the back of the tree.

I don't have sufficient knowledge to say whether it is suitable from a technical standpoint but I do really enjoy looking at it. My busy mind appreciates it's elegant simplicity. I particularly like the view in the third photo. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks Ken, Dorothy . . . In the pictures I'm also starting to like the last picture, but not in 3-D. I certainly can use the "alternative."

Any pot suggestions. This one is "OK" but just that.

I like the alternative front as well. Dale Cochoy might have a pot that would be perfect for this tree. FYI, I find that the branches, especially ones with hard wood, are very brittle. Please post pictures when it blooms.

It probably won't be allowed to bloom. It's pretty small for that.
