This Mistletoe Fig, Fruiting Indoor

Post  Chiang Cheng Kooi on Fri May 11, 2012 5:50 pm

This Mistletoe Fig/Ficus deltoidea jack, has no great trunk. I put in near the window exposing about 3 to 4 hours sunglight in aday. However it is one of the few plants that can fruit indoor. If you plants it out door, the underside of the leaf will turn orange to add color in your collection.

This fig is one of the few that seems to have figs all the time.

I do enjoy the fruit of this species; mine has not fruited for some time, however...maybe being outdoors for the spring/summer will help it a bit.
