A Couple of Shohin

Post  thomasj on Wed May 02, 2012 2:33 pm

Over the past few years I've been downsizing my collection to work with mainly smaller trees and shohin size trees.
Here's a few of them.

A Pyracantha over rock.

A chinese elm semi cascade.

And of course my favorite, a JBP that gets better and better each year. cheers

Is that as small as the needles can get on a JBP?

Oh heck no. What you're seeing here is the new candles growing in length at the time the pic was taken. Right now they're so long that you can't even see the trunk. When things are back to normal this tree has the smallest needles of all my JBPs, which by the way isn't very
many . Laughing
