Mame bonsai on Petrified Wood

I just finished this small landscape scene, with 13 mame bonsai trees on it, rockery is made ​​of petrified wood.

In our country there are many kinds of petrified wood.
This Landscaping I had just done so well recently planted small trees. Normally they will grow very well. Because they were raised outside long before then.

In Greece there are some places where exist petrified remains of forests but they are strictly protected and it is almost impossible that one can obtain a small piece.
It will be interesting for us to see the adaptation of the small trees. Keep us updated!

I find something incredibly poetic about a tree planted on petrified wood. I have a few pieces of petrified wood that I'm hoping to do something similar with but the fluidity of your piece is stunning. How many individual pieces did you use?
