Boxwood cultivar, how much foliage to keep?

Heya ppl!

After a 2 year hiatus I managed to buy a house with a decent sized garden so I'm thinking about a "comeback". With the garden came a pretty huge boxwood cultivar that needs to go (since it growing to close to the house), and so I'm thinking about collecting it and "banzai" it. How much foliage do I need to keep (if any) or can I just chop it and it'll back bud on >20 year old wood?

You must leave something green (leaf pair) at the end of each branch so the branch doesn't die back, if done now the Box should back bud nicely for you if its healthy.
