hi ibc forum

it's my first post with you.

I've read your post since 3 years and I've never posted my trees. it's a very good forum and all the trees here are wonderful

so I do a first step, I've forgotten my English so please excuse me if i make mistakes I try to write my best. What a Face Thank you.

I like sylvestre pine and buxus. I show you a collected buxus'yamadori .

It's a big and old tree. Buxus in France usually grow very slowly. It's not very important but this tree have almost 150 or 200 year, maybe more.

very sorry for my bad English.
I've needed nearly four hours for this kind of pieces.

Really nice piece and your English is fine. I see a lot of character to it, so keep us up to date on the progress.

Wonderful trees. Very fortunate to have such amazing collectable boxwood. Are these native to France?
Were the rocks naturally placed or in a man-made structure?

thank a lot glad if you like the buxus yamadori.

hello rob

yes this tree come from France.

yes the rock has been already inside when i collected it, i send you another picture where you see a big rock. but i brake half of this one because the weight was too much for me scratch.

buxus grow very slow and they have sometime rock inside.

Very cool material, boxwood is used extensively as hedging material here but we never see trunks like those. looking forward to seeing the future development.

Wow really really nice. Iknow that buxus has been used by the Victorians for the famous french knot gardens, Do you think yours was part of an long lost Garden, or did you find it in the wild.
you've got a treasure!

Thank you for the compliment. It is true it is a big trunk

It is very heavy as tree because the wood is very dense and there is often of attractive dead wood.

The advantage with this sort(species) it is the strong rate of success.

It is the wild tree which comes from a road or cows pass every day.

It is not the same sort(species) used for gardens seems to me
