Forest Slab Pots Empty Forest Slab Pots

After attending the 26th Appalachian potters market show, this passed saturday,I quickly found out no one there had any bonsai pots,So I'm try to get hooked up with some of the show.So I'm off to buy some clay tomorrow and start back making pots and forest slabs. And not charge a arm and a leg for them either. Here a picture of one I'm working on now,the clay is still pretty wet,I'm still carving on it.

Do not take offense Sensei

I hear a bit of youngness and eagerness up there... the proof is in the pudding (potting) so they say.

Your pots are infinitely beyond the rest of us and never confused with run of the mill (puppy or any other)

No it doesn't. Just a lot of hard work and a lot of time and talent.

Precisely.....and that usually means.....expensive. I've yet to see high quality, cheap pots. That combination rarely happens, not only in pots but in any aspect of life in general.

Good luck with your venture. I hope you'll post your creations here. Lots of great potters on this site.
