Hi Stonener
The two collours of the stone is nice, and also the shape of the stone.
Did you find your picture in the stone?
Kind regards Yvonne

Re: one of twelve signs
Hi Stonener,
They do follow you home....here's mine from this weekend! My stone group spent four days on rivers running into Lake Superior. The stone is basalt and has natural patina. It will probably be a plateau stone in a suiban eventually but for now it's my stone head Moai from Easter Island.
Best regards,
Norma

Re: one of twelve signs
Hello Hung Tran,
The stone reminded me of ancient statues on Easter Island that ring the island facing the sea. Many of the statues were only heads with large noses. Here is a link:

Re: one of twelve signs
Greetings:
Stonener, the stone is 8" x 4" (20cm x 10cm) and a display might be difficult for a head. Any suggestions?
Jay, There are a few stones, collected this weekend, that might eventually make good viewing stones but I need to "play" with them. Two of the stone friends this weekend are also gifted daiza carvers so I need to get more feedback on some of the stones with potential. I will sort through some of my photos and give you all a taste of Minnesota stone hunting.
Thanks, Hung-Tran, for your kind response!
Kind regards,
Norma
