Thats AWSOME!

In an imaginary world it would be fun to cut the sidewalk out and display it whole with tree in a weird "urban yamadori" style..

Don't worry sometimes the Deer make better bonsai up my way that I do.

Over here, sheep are the Bonsai Masters, followed by the council workmen who trim the hedges and teenage plonkers in cars they can't drive properly.

Thanks for the replies. I agree with the livestock and teenage driven vehicles. I have seen many things on the sides of roads that I thought benefitted aesthetically from someone's lack of driving experience. I am still looking for a livestock pasture collecting grounds?

In the late nineties, I spotted a rather exotic plant growing at the base of the wall outside a pub I had just been trown out because I argued with the bartender that wanted me to gobble that a pint is 37 cl Evil or Very Mad

Never went back, didn't want to get into trouble and do something I could regret (like coming back with a gun for self-defence for example), I'll never know if the plant was XX or XY Laughing

And I don't regret it.

I actually have a pre-Bonsai Hornbeam that the whitetail deer around here started. Their nibbling helped keep it nice and small with some funky lower branch development.

This sweetgum (now deceased, alas) was styled by horses in my pasture in Tallahassee.
