Acer palmatum dissectum Garnet

A tree more in development. In a garden should be disposed of Acer Dissectum. My question to the owner if I can dig it was answered with yes. 2007 in March it was time. the images speak for themselves. High 120cm

In this garden grow many small flowering plants. The Acer was about 5Diameter one with too much shade. For two summers I've always trimmed the tree.
Therefore, the tree had to disappear. I am happy with it

Hi,

Some many rules and conventions have been broken in the making of this tree. Starting with the height, Its too tall. Not many lower branches and a few others as well. Then again when I look at the tree with an open mind I see a very beautiful tree. Great creation... keep up the good work...

Great tree, Jupp. The shape is so different from the usual garden Acers which are almost uniformly informal upright.

As many of us have said on many occasions - "rules" are only guidelines. Sometimes the so-called ugly duckling is better and more beautiful than the swan.

Nice to see the tree again in spring.
A good pot choice i feel.
Is it possible to work on the lower right branch?
The end of the thick part stops the flow, as you will have noticed yourself.
Maybe some cutting and narrowing of the taper there?

You probley won,t see my post i am late.....you have a nice tree i like the trunk a lot...also the way you bent the apex and didn,t make windswept!!! the rules may not apply but you have a good tree good job take care john
