Hi everyone,

I´ve seen Eric`s pots already last year. A few weeks ago I decided to contact him and ask him if he can ship one of his pots to germany. His answer was yes. ;-)

This tuesday the pot arrived. Eric did a very good job and packed the pot very well. It was a very heavy package but there were no damages on the pot. Everything was fine. Thank you Eric!!!

Today I would like to show one picture from the pot. You can see how Eric packed it. My cam is broken, I will show more pictures later.

Kind regards

Jerome, thank you for your order.

Yes, this is a pot-board Nr.7, box weighs 45kg for delivery.
I do it in layers of packaging in polystyrene.
I glue all the layers, and finally wrap it in packaged boxes.

thanks

Erik

Is this the pot that Pavel has his tree in?? If it is, well Pavel has a tree in one of your pots, it looks FANATSTIC !!!! You should make some from clay, you can carve it when it is leather hard.

Regards

Andy

Amazing work and the size is truely amazing.
Would something like this be possible on a smaller scale with clay?

I think that the color gives a lighter feeling to this pot compared to the color of Pavel's pot.
One more inspiration of yours came out beautifully realized, Erik.
I always like to look at your work.

PS: Perhaps Philippe will be kind enough to show us the pot with its... inhabitant Smile

atelier - my new work - atelier bonsai Element - Page 4 Empty Pots & Cement

Post  David Carvalho Tue Aug 23, 2011 11:50 am

Hello Erik,

I must admit that when I first heard here in the forum about "cement pots" I wasnt that impressed, but I couldn't be any wronger, after exploring your work I was completly blown away by your pots, the result is amazing, the finishing is outstanding since they really look so natural, congratulations on your amazing pots, I love them and I hope to get one soon Smile

I have two questions Erik, that I hope you can help me out,

1º The pot is frost proof, but how about the durability, is this cements pots so strong and durable has normal ceramic bonsai pots?

2º How can I order one? Smile

Best regards,

Hello David,
thank you for the compliment.
I do my pots are of high-quality
frost-resistant, flexible adhesive - cement.
Inside is an iron armature.

But, as my know-how is a layer on the surface, under the root ball. (film 2mm)
It is another special insulating cement, which is 100% non-toxic.
(You can prepare a meal on it.Smile)
But mostly it is also 100% impervious to water.
With this film is my pots indestructible.

Best regards

Hello, Erik!
I like very much the gradual hues that you have managed to give to this new pot!
It will be interesting to see the whole composition when the "cobra" will be seated inside.

Hi Erik, i dont know what kind of adjective words that best describe your GOD given talent, the craftsmanship, the design, all of it are really the best workmanship i ever had, the creativity are so fascinating, thank you for sharing that God Giving Talent, its really a WOW Very Happy bounce You know Sir Erik, because of your mastery of this artistic field, you deserve to have that title, i once encounter that kind of design, his name, guide, the one posted here too, i seek her guidance but to no avail, language barrier affected our conversation..You know im having, really a hard time of looking, experimenting, and self relient work but still failed, im actually opt to use a natural stone as a disc to use in my bonsai forest, but again a failure, i really wanted a nice pot/disc for this forest, i scan several references of making a pot but im having a problem in shaping it the way you just did, let me show you my stuff, here it is..
atelier - my new work - atelier bonsai Element - Page 4 Dsc03228
atelier - my new work - atelier bonsai Element - Page 4 Dsc03229
the side shaping you just did to all your pot, its very natural indeed, no wonder many of us are really thumbs up thumbs up Dance ThumbsUp Dance
I hope you could possibly teach me how to do it...Please
